Paris Theodorou

The founder of Theodorous Law Firm.

Paris Theodorou first achieved recognition for his work in the infamous Samson Makele case. His work triggered a review in to the disclosure of evidence in criminal cases in England and Wales. Mr Makele had been accused of a criminal offence and he was due to attend court with the prospect of prison and then deportation. Although the Crown Prosecution Service and the Metropolitan Police claimed there had been no evidence that undermined their case, our founder conducted his own investigations and a forensic analysis. As a result, Mr Theodorou discovered evidence which supported Mr Makele’s defence. As a result, the case against Mr Makele was discontinued.

As a result of Mr Theodorou’s work on the Makele case, he was nominated for criminal defence solicitor of the year at the LALYs, the youngest ever person to be nominated for the accolade. Since, Paris has appeared on the Victoria Derbyshire show, BBC Radio 4 and has been mention in 1000s of articles. His work helped trigger a full review of disclosure in criminal cases after the Liam Allen case.

Paris is a solicitor accredited in England and Wales since 2012. He has previously worked as an appropriate adult, police station representative, member of the youth offenders panel and as a county court advocate. As an adviser for the Citizens Advice Bureau is 2010, Paris made it his mission to protect the accused and defend the rights of those facing legal challenges.
